SC — Multifamily Building Superintendent
Description
Forino is looking to add an organized and detail-oriented leader to our team. Our company is fast-moving, constantly evolving, and fosters a team-oriented environment. This position will focus on developing numerous apartment and townhouse projects in the works, including over 650 multifamily units in the Bluffton/Beaufort area. This person should possess incredible attention to detail, a positive attitude, and strong organization skills. A great personality and impeccable work ethic are a must. Specific tasks/requirements include:
Responsibilities
- Studies specifications and contracts to plan procedures for construction, ensuring start and finish times, safety, quality, and staffing/subcontractor requirements for each phase of the construction job are met.
- Manage inspection approvals with all authorities having jurisdiction from civil construction through certificate of occupancy
- Perform daily inspection of projects and monitor subcontractors for best practices
- Take ownership and responsibility for the completion of the project punch list, assuring smooth product transition to property/asset management
- Develops and maintains good rapport with subcontractors, city officials and inspectors
- Identify constructability issues, design deficiencies, code violations, and any other issues
- Develop, refine, and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and tracked
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have 10-plus years of experience in on-site field operations
- Must have experience in multifamily building
- Excellent time management and impeccable organizational skills
- Must have a smartphone and a valid driver’s license. This is primarily an on-site position.
