Meet Our Leadership Team
Tony Forino established the Forino Co., L.P. in 1975 and is currently the President.
Tony began his construction career after high school in his family’s construction company. In 1971, he entered into a partnership with his father and brother-in-law to create a general contracting company. After five years, they purchased their first residential lots and began selling single-family homes. By 1983, both of his previous partners left the company and it was left to Tony to continue the company. For the next 23 years, he worked diligently and the company became the home-builder in Berks County for single-family residential homes. In 2006, Tony could sense a turn in the market and started an in-house engineering firm, which began doing more residential remodeling projects while becoming certified with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. In 2011, Tony opened the company to another business unit, building multifamily housing and apartment complexes. Tony is extremely active in the day-to-day operations of the company and enjoys working in the field with his employees.
Tony is originally from Montgomery County and is a graduate of Archbishop Wood Catholic School for Boys. He currently resides in Sinking Spring, PA with his wife, Sandy. He has three daughters and seven grandchildren. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys traveling and exercising.
John Smith joined the Forino Co., L.P. in February 1996 as Vice President. He is responsible for the daily operations of the company, including supply chain management, guidance to business units and implementing plans to attain organizational goals.
John has over 25 years of general management experience and carries a Master Planners Certification. He understands the innate operational functions of all business units associated with the firm, and is recognized for his strengths in efficiency combined with a strong background in finance and management. He has been able to develop numerous business relationships with key industry suppliers to provide top quality products and services for the firm’s customers. John has served his community and industry through various positions, including serving on the Board of Directors of Home Builders Association of Berks County and the Berks County Conservation District. Prior to joining Forino, John was the General Manager of the Golden Oaks Golf Club. He was responsible for all operations, staffing and business development. He also helped design the clubhouse and the golf course.
Currently living in Ruscombmanor Township, PA, John enjoys traveling and playing golf. Both of his children are college graduates from prestigious universities. His son is a project engineer for a global pipelining company, while his daughter is an elementary teacher in Thailand.
Eileen Hauptly has been with the Forino organization since 1986. She is responsible for all accounting, finance and insurance matters for Forino and several related companies. She obtains the financing needed for all acquisitions and construction activities, and manages the accounting staff. Eileen works closely with the company’s lenders and bonding companies to provide complete monthly financial reporting. With 27 years of service with Forino, she understands the complexities of the industry and the information required by lenders, insurance, bonding and title companies for the ongoing operations of the company.
Nathan Pletscher joined Forino Co., L.P. in July of 2010. He is responsible for the firm’s marketing strategies, long term organizational strategic goals, maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, identifying business opportunities and cultivating business relationships.
Nathan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Alvernia University. Prior to his career commitment to Real Estate Construction and Development, he held positions in public accounting that serviced clients within the Construction, Finance and Manufacturing fields. Nathan’s diverse background and education has provided him with a comprehensive and unique understanding of the industry.
Nathan is from the Greater Reading area and is a graduate of Oley Valley High School. He currently resides in Oley, Pa with his wife Ashley and young child. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys golfing, tennis, running and reading.
Lisa joined Forino Co., L.P. as the Director of Sales in September 2015 when the company opened its’ In-House Sales Office. Lisa oversees the listing and sales for all of Forino’s Berks and Schuylkill County communities.
Lisa holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bucknell University and started her career as an Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LP. After obtaining her CPA, she decided to pursue her real estate license. Lisa has been practicing real estate for 14 years and spent most of her career with Coldwell Banker Preferred in Old City, Philadelphia. After just two years in the business, Lisa created a team and sharpened her focus to the booming condo market.Lisa and her team sold multi-million dollars of real estate in the Philadelphia area and on the Main Line. Among her nearly 300 real estate transactions, over 100 of them were in one condo building alone! During her career, Lisa has obtained multiple real estate designations including the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Negotiation Specialist (CNS).
She has enjoyed developing and maintaining strong relationships with Buyers, Sellers, Landlords, Renters and especially other REALTORS®. Lisa is eager to bring her expertise to the family business and build the in-house sales office at Forino. She is a graduate of Holy Name High School, and lives in Ardmore, PA with her husband, Mark, and two daughters.In addition to spending time with her family, Lisa is an avid CrossFit athlete and enjoys to cook.
Jeff Simcox joined the Forino Co., L.P. in March 2004. He serves as our Director of Construction Services and is responsible for overseeing all operations of the company’s estimating function, specific to its growing markets. This position develops policies and procedures related to the bid process, and exercises final approval over all bids and proposals. He is also the Safety Director and is active in Sales and Business Development.
Jeff has over 35 years of construction industry knowledge, working primarily in heavy construction including highways and bridges, concrete, and student housing. He holds various certifications including ACI Grade I Technician, PennDot Field Testing Technician and LEED Renovations.
A graduate of Wilson High School, Jeff lives in Spring Township, PA with his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Brittany.
